What is the Cost of Brow Lift in Charlotte?

As we age, the position of our brows can change. If the brows sag as we age, it can cause the skin of the upper eyelid to become heavy and create a tired look. As the brows come down, it can change the proportions of the face. The decision to undergo surgery should be taken seriously. Patient’s need to evaluate and ask many question before choosing to undergo surgery. One common question that I will answer is: How much does a brow lift cost in Charlotte?

What are the Factors that Go into the Cost of a Brow Lift in North Carolina?

A team of healthcare professionals, equipment, and supplies are utilized during a brow lift. There are 3 main components of the price of a brow lift:

  1. Facility Fee
  2. Anesthesia Fee
  3. Surgeon’s Fee

What Does the Facility Fee Cover?

If I was undergoing a brow lift in North Carolina, I would want to have the procedure done at a clean, safe, and comfortable environment. The facility fee is paid directly to the location where the patient undergoes the surgery. The facility can be a hospital, surgery center, or an office. This fee is used to pay the staff, supplies, and equipment of the facility.

The facility fee varies at each location, but typically this fee will be more affordable at an office. Having the surgery performed at the office could be an option for patients to bring down the cost of brow lift.

What Does the Anesthesia Fee Cover?

To undergo a brow lift, a patient may need to be put asleep or “knocked out” by anesthesia. The anesthesia fee is used to cover the costs of the medical personal giving the anesthesia (anesthesiologist or nurse anesthetist) and all their supplies. The medications that are used by the anesthesiologist are used to treat pain, prevent infection, and prevent nausea.

What Does the Surgeon’s Fee Cover?

The surgeon’s fee is paid to the office of the facial plastic surgeon and covers all of the expenses it takes to run a successful facial plastic surgery practice. All appointments that a patient has with the doctor before and after the procedures are included in the price at my office. It typically entails 1-2 appointments before surgery and at least 5 appointments for the first year after surgery. It covers the time that the surgeon takes to perform the surgery, which may vary from 1 to 3 hours.

There are many other costs that are covered from the surgeon’s fee that do not go directly to your doctor. This fee is used to cover the overhead of a medical practice, pay staff, supplies to care for patients, electricity, rent, and other costs.

What Determine the Range in the Cost of Brow Lift in North Carolina?

The simple answer is the type of brow lift. The 2 most common brow lifts I perform at my office are an endoscopic brow lift and a minimally invasive 1cm incision brow lift. The endoscopic brow lift takes more time and is reserved for patients that have more severe sagging of the brows. For these reasons, this procedure is more expensive that the 1 cm minimally invasive browlift.

What is the General Cost of Brow Lift in Charlotte?

The cost of brow lift ranges from the low end of $2000 up to $6,000 in Charlotte. Most patients fall somewhere in the middle of this range
